What I Like About You
E Daugherty

-My type of guy-

I want a guy with a sense of humor. I don’t care what they look like as long as I’m attracted to them somehow. I want to be able to talk to this guy about anything. In the summer I want to be able to trust him and for him to trust me. If he’s ever at my house I want to be able to sit down and watch any type of movie (whether it be romance or horror) without complaint or pressure. I want to cuddle with my guy and I want him to make me feel special because I know no one else will. I want this guy to say…”I Love You” and I want him to mean it. I want a guy who understands that I need a little space one minute….but full attention another minute. I want a guy who will encourage me and help me move on through my life instead of holding me back. I want my guy to believe to show any emotion he’s feeling….I don’t want my guy to bottle up his feelings. I want my guy to realize I’m not the smartest person in the world. I want my guy to always make the first move. I’d like my guy to interested in art and writing…I want him to fit in easily with my friends and be able to talk to them too. I want to be able to pick up the phone and call my guy just to hear his voice. I want my guy to ask me questions if he wants answers….I want him to be honest with me. I want a guy who doesn’t mind walking with me down the road at 3:00 in the morning and I want him to lay under the stars and cuddle trying to keep warm on colder nights. I want my guy to be open to trying new things….and understand when I try stuff. I don’t want him to judge me for anything I do…and I don’t want him agreeing with me about everything…he needs to have his own voice…own opinions. He has to be outgoing since I’m not…I just wanna hear “I love you” from someone who means it…..

"Don't we all want our guy's to be like this. You've said it all so succinctly. Well done. P.S if you find one like this ask if he has a brother for me !!!" -- louisa, Aberdeen.
"I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors. You sound truly deserving. I know how it feels to search vainly for your other half." -- Preach.
