As I stare out my window,
looking down the road.
I hear the echo,
I feel so cold.

I never meant to hurt you,
it just wasn't meant to be.
Instead of reaching out to you,
I left and called it Free.

"Hi Larenda, I really liked your poem. It was quick and to the point the same way breaking up should be. I especially like the last line..the ending...sounds permanent just the way it should be. Anyway just wanted you to know I enjoyed your poem, Doc" -- Gary Reynolds, Mt. View, Ar, USA.
"Thank you all for your kind words. You're all very welcome. I wish I had the time to show all of my work. There are tons. I now am happily remarried: new name Lewis. I am sorry it took so long for me to thank you for your reviews. May God bless you all.... Larenda Lewis" -- Larenda Lewis(now), Lowell, Arkansas, USA.
